The Role

You will have a central role on this team, helping us imagine the next set of products we’ll launch, collaborating with the team on strategy for those new products, and bringing them to market. You will also lead iterative improvements within the existing suite of products. This is a highly cross-functional role, where you’ll be collaborating with teams across the organization from sales and business development to customer success to marketing and engineering.

● Collaborate on building and maintaining the near and longer term product roadmaps

● Develop product pipeline by leading analysis, research, and business case development for potential new products and current product improvements

● Lead launches of new products and platforms from ideation to go-to-market, including cross-functional planning and project management

● Manage and execute the ideation phase of new product launches, including conducting user research to understand customer needs and pain points, and set the strategy and narrative to address them

● Help manage and optimize both new and existing products once they’re in-market

● Stay up on trends in the market, including competitor research and intel

Responsibilities

Utilize deep knowledge of the health care segment’s buyer personas, user personas, healthcare stakeholder structure, market, competition, and technology to identify segment use cases and develop a product vision to serve those use cases.

  1. Conduct rigorous market, competition, and product analysis for new areas where CancerIQ’s technology can bring about significant change.
  2. Leverage your understanding of CancerIQ’s capabilities to inform the ongoing development of our new product/market penetration strategies.
  3. Continuously evaluate product/market fit to ensure optimal direction of the CancerIQ product roadmap and initiatives.
  4. Track and understand industry trends, research findings and competitive innovations.
  5. Infuse product roadmaps with both qualitative and quantitative data evidence.
  6. Communicate product strategy and roadmap to create common understanding and support from leadership and stakeholders.
  7. Communicate product strategy and roadmap to our customers, prospects and the broader industry.
  8. Prioritize and execute a backlog of product discovery projects and new feature ideas to drive commercial growth and achieve key company KPIs.
  9. Collaborate closely with our engineering and scrum teams to execute and deliver on product outputs.
  10. Collaborate closely with our sales and marketing team to ensure they have the right tools to correctly position our products in the market.

Requirements

Who you are:

You are someone who can *really* understand and connect with our customer - you're deeply empathetic when it comes to understanding consumer psychology, needs, and behaviors. You're a collaborative and communicative team player who enjoys working and driving projects, and works cross-functionally with a wide range of personalities.


Qualifications - Education and Experience

● 10+ years product experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS software company

● 5+ years of leading and/or managing product team members

● Experience with creating clinical software and/or chronic disease related software preferred

● Experience in SaaS healthcare IT or life science software required

● Experience creating and informing product strategy and product roadmap

Writing: Able to create simple/minimal writing, simplify complicated work of others, intuitively use tables or diagrams in cases where a picture is worth a thousand words.

Leadership and Mentoring Mindset: Able to lead a team, manage diverse personalities and work with a multitude of stakeholders to deliver product objectives and meet deadlines. Able to help grow and mentor other product team members
